Boys in Mind were invited, by the Lighthouse charity in Northern Ireland, to join them as they mark 20 years since their launch with a suicide prevention conference entitled “Twenty Years of Learning”.

The “Twenty Years of Learning” conference included 6 workshops, panel discussions, drama production, short film premier and lots more bringing together researchers, clinicians, other organisations from the statutory and voluntary sectors as well as survivors of suicidal loss, to share knowledge and re-affirm their commitment to preventing suicide in Northern Ireland.

Keynote speakers including Chief Medical Officer, Prof. Sir Michael McBride, Dr Jef Hanna, Research Associate, Institute of Nursing & Health Research at Ulster University and Boys in Mind, represented by Jim Cumpson. Will Cumpson and Andrew Hassenruck.

Boys in Mind were delighted to be asked to take part in this event and we’d like to thank our friends and colleagues in Northern Ireland. We’ll post updates through our social media channels along with more details in our next online news update.
