Sexism is prejudice or discrimination based on one’s sex or gender. This film aims to discuss what young men can do to address sexism. We ask the question can a man be a feminist?
We hope to evoke empathy from young men as well as to showcase what healthy positive interaction looks like, instead of emphasising what unhealthy looks like. Reinforced by the harrowing testimony of several young woman, the film examines how we can confront sexism, what men can do to make women feel safe, and how we can achieve gender equality.
Thank you to Gabe, Nishta, Enya, Kirsty, Lucia, Charlie, and Will for their contributions and to Henry and Andrew for making the film happen.
